A little back story…a childhood friend recently reached out and told me she was interested in purchasing one of my paintings for her new home in Florida. We grew up together in Westport, and spent our summers sailing and doing (don’t laugh!) water ballet at SHYC where our families belonged. We also had a sweet sixteen party together there…the only person I did NOT dance with that night was the guy that ended up being my husband!! 😜

Anyway, it was really great hearing from her and knowing that’s she has been following my art journey from afar. And it is very special for me to have my artwork in her beautiful home 💕

I had an idea a while ago and have been working with a seamstress to have my dropcloth made into a skirt…and I did not expect this…BUT, now I have a wait list for orders!!!

Anyway, it was a great night, filled with creativity and so much fun seeing lots of people from my past and really beautiful vignettes. Loved seeing my artwork curated from @swoonwestport and even sold some of my smalls. Really fabulous!!🩷
